My research interest is Cosmology, in particular galaxy clusters, modified gravity and gravitational waves.
I study galaxy clusters as test for alternative models of gravity and dark energy. In particular, using both observations and mock data from cosmological simulations, I reconstruct cluster mass profiles form internal kinematic of member galaxies and from gravitational lensing, which carry information about the nature of gravity, to constrain the free parameters of non-standard theories viable at cosmological level.
Recently, I have started a second line of research in the field of gravitational waves astronomy. Considering the so-called effective gravitational Compton scattering, I am investigating the effect of collisions induced by this interaction between gravitational waves and massive objects in the full Boltzmann equations for total intensity and polarisation anisotropies of the Stochastic Gravitational Wave Background (SGWB).
